Microsoft are making some improvements to your Yammer feed to help bring more focus to Topics and People in Yammer. With this change, you will now see people, topics, and files that you follow in the “Following” home feed.
In mid February, 2018, Yammer will be rolling out improvements to the “Following” feed. These improvements are focused on making it easier to see content from people, topics, and files you follow. To help surface that content, Yammer will no longer be showing all the conversations from your groups in the Following feed.
Groups in the left navigation pane will continue to show indicators for new content that you haven’t seen. You can also make use of the ‘New’ and ‘All’ conversation tabs in your groups, and the group transition link at the end of each group feed to easily go to the next group with unseen content.
Yammer Home feeds will not change, and are still structured as follows:
Discovery – Find content from groups you or your close colleagues are in as well as content trending across the company.
All – View all public conversations in your network.
Following – Follow conversations involving people, topics, and files you care about. Conversations from groups you are in will only be here if they involve a person, topic or file you follow.
